Course Description

Rope Rescue Competition – September 26–27, 2026 Rogue Rescue Academy is proud to host a Rope Rescue Competition bringing together rescue professionals and teams for two days of skill challenges, training exchange, and professional networking.

Event Highlights: • Technical rope rescue scenarios • Team-based rescue challenges • Professional networking and training exchange • Outdoor camping and team activities Teams and rescue professionals are welcome. More details, registration, and competition rules will be announced soon. • Maximum capacity: 9 teams • Each team must include:

  • Each team must consist of 5 rescuers and 1 person assigned as victim
  • Participants should have prior rope rescue training and operational experience
  • Team members must be physically capable of performing technical rescue tasks in outdoor environments
  • All participants must use certified personal protective and rescue equipment meeting applicable safety standards
  • Teams must follow all competition safety rules and instructions provided by event organizers
  • Rogue Rescue will provide both a tripod and stokes basket to be used during competition. All other equipment including hardware, ropes, harnesses, ect is the responsibility of each individual team.

āš ļø Registration fee increases after June 1, 2026. Teams completing registration after June 1, 2026, will pay an increased fee of $1,200 per team. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot, as competition capacity is limited to 9 teams.

Special Guest Team:

We are honored to welcome members of a team that has won the international GRIMP Day rescue competition in Belgium for the past three consecutive years, who will attend as our special guests and share their experience with participants. More competition details and registration information will be announced soon.

Prerequisites

To ensure safety and fair competition, participating teams must meet the following prerequisites: • Each team must consist of 5 rescuers and 1 person assigned as victim • Participants should have prior rope rescue training and operational experience • Team members must be physically capable of performing technical rescue tasks in outdoor environments • All participants must use certified personal protective and rescue equipment meeting applicable safety standards • Teams must follow all competition safety rules and instructions provided by event organizers Additional competition rules and scenario details will be shared with registered teams prior to the event.
